Terms and Conditions

THROUGHOUT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS "WE", "US" OR "OUR" MEANS STERLING PARTS, AND "YOU" OR "YOUR" MEANS YOU, THE CUSTOMER. TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED BY US IN CONJUNCTION WITH YOU PLACING AN ORDER CONSTITUTE THE CONTRACT BETWEEN US AND YOU FOR THE SUPPLY OF GOODS. THE CONTRACT IS NOT VARIABLE UNLESS WE AGREE TO VARY IT EITHER IN WRITING OR BY EMAIL.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. We reserve the right to change prices prior to order confirmation. Prices exclude shipping costs. Title passes upon full payment. Orders shipped via courier will incur shipping fees visible at checkout. Payments are via PayPal & Stripe. Payment is captured upon order validation and dispatch. Trade customers may access special pricing with COD terms requiring prepayment. Overdue trade accounts incur 12% interest p.a. Legal and collection costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Shipping & Delivery

National

Delivery across Australia may take up to 10 working days for regional areas. We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days for metropolitan areas. Delivery is made to the address on your order confirmation. If unavailable, couriers may leave a notice to reschedule. Please provide delivery instructions to avoid missed deliveries. Ownership and risk transfer upon receipted delivery. Panel shipments require pre-arrangement.

International

International orders are shipped via AUSPOST. Prices are based on weight. Items are bubble wrapped and packaged securely. Max length: 105cm. Sterling Parts is not responsible for courier-caused damage.

Modified Vehicles

Our products are made for stock vehicles only. They may not be compatible with modified vehicles. Please consult a qualified mechanic before ordering. Use on modified vehicles is at your own risk. Sterling Parts is not liable for any issues from improper or out-of-spec usage.

Purchasing

All products are subject to availability. Customers must enter accurate personal/payment details. Incorrect information may result in delivery failure. Orders represent an offer to buy. Acceptance is confirmed by email. Each part is sold individually & unpainted unless stated otherwise. A 20% handling charge applies if returns are due to incorrect ordering without proper review of product details.

Return Policy

Notify us within 48 hours of invoice for return requests. Authorisation is required. Provide invoice copy. Goods must be returned in original packaging and undamaged. Painted panels are non-returnable. Parts returned within 14 days incur no fee. Parts returned between 15–30 days may incur a 20% restocking fee. No returns after 30 days. Customers are responsible for covering all costs associated with returning items. Special orders and interstate-sourced items are non-returnable.

Refunds

Approved refunds take up to 5 business days. Refunds are issued for out-of-stock parts or approved warranty claims, including international orders.

Warranty

Standard Parts: 12 months or 20,000km for non-commercial use; 6 months or 10,000km for commercial use.
Suspension Parts that falls into these subcategories - [control arms, strut mounts, wheel hubs, sway bar links, and ball joints] (purchased after 1 July 2023): 24 months or 40,000km for non-commercial use; 6 months or 10,000km for commercial use.
Warranty covers parts only. Labour, freight, and handling are not covered. Must be installed by a licensed professional. Claims require proof and must be lodged within 7 days of delivery. Misuse or improper installation voids warranty.

What is Not Covered

  • Damage from misuse, impact, or external factors
  • Parts altered from manufacturer design
  • Custom-painted panels
  • Lost/stolen items under user care
  • Normal wear and tear

Transaction Policy

All transactions are in AUD. Users must be 18+. Misuse by minors may result in liability of parents or guardians.

Promotion Policy

Coupon codes apply to orders under $500 unless stated otherwise. Higher-value codes will specify different limits in promotional materials.

Refund Policy

Unopened/undamaged purchases may be refunded within 7 days. Postage costs not included in refund. Applicable to international orders too.

Privacy Policy

Sterling Parts keeps your data private and secure. We do not sell or swap customer details. Information is used for order processing and personalising your experience.
